This is a well-made USB C hub, and its to be expected from a UGREEN product. It includes three USB-C slots (one being a 100W PD USB-C slot) and two USB-A slots and a HDMI slot. The most notable feature on the hub that separates it from the rest is the cute face displayed on screen. Personally I love the feature, although it can make it a little cryptic to understand what the faces mean, it's super cute and suits the rest of my desk!

Practical multi charger. Good value and charges fast.

As a huge fan of UGREEN I was a bit disappointed by this adapter. My complaints are more to do with form rather than function. Functionally, it performs as it says on the tin, all the connections work fine and I trust that this will last as it's a UGREEN product.
Built wise though, I am disappointed by the all plastic body which leaves this feeling cheaply lightweight. The face, while cute, is simply a gimmick that increases the size of the adapter unnecessarily. Still it's a functional purchase as many adapters at this price don't normally have a decent brand's sticker on them

With fewer ports on our devices these days, this hub allows me to use all my devices, even on the go.
Not sure that the faces do anything other than make it unique, but all the ports function as they should, including the hdmi port. I have ordered a second one as a gift for a friend.

i use this dongle every single day. as a person who travels for work, my laptop is my lifeline. and modern laptops dont have enough i/o ports so this is a life saver. UGREEN FOR LIFE

I used it to connect my USB-A Midi keyboard to my new MacBook Air (which has only USB-C ports). With an older USB-A-to-USB-C adapter the MacBook didn't recognize the keyboard. With this hub, it is recognized. I also connected an HDMI monitor to it and this also works.
Connecting a monitor via USB-C does not seem to work.

This would be the perfect USB C hub for packing with your laptop, other than the size! It has a good number and variety of ports to make it a versatile multi-use hub. The only extra port that would be nice to have is a gigabit ethernet port.
Build quality is nice, although it is all plastic. The plastic does make it fairly lightweight. What's puzzling is why it has to be quite this large, even with the screen. It is most definitely thicker than it needs to be, and the port could also be closer to each other. I have other USB C hubs with similar ports and I would say they are about 40% less volume!
I used this primarily with a Macbook Pro (Apple silicon). I had no issues using any of the ports.

I'm using this with my laptop and it's worked perfectly it's given me more ports than my one of two USB c ports. The screen has like three different faces depending on what it's doing I'm still not Shure which is what but it's funny to look at.

Wat ik goed vind, zijn de ogen die aan gaan als je het met je mac aansluit. Wanneer je een beeldscherm op het apparaat aansluit, gaat het mondje aan. Voor de rest een goede product.

This arrived just when I needed it. The screen on my dads Samsung phone died. I plugged this in, with a screen, keyboard, mouse and thumb drive. All the devices worked with the phone immediately, and I was able to access the phone. I was then able to backup the settings to the thumb drive and factory reset the phone.
Very handy.

Works great with my Dell works laptop. Pass through charging works fine, connects to my monitor through HDMI. Mouse, keyboard and headset all connected at the same time with no issue.

Generally speaking I've had good luck with Ugreen products, and this is no exception to that. The dock technically works quite well, it's stable and works without any random disconnects.
The build quality is more or less OK, the body is made entirely of plastic, and sadly it's cheap and low end plastic, it doesn't feel great. Also, plastic is worse for radiating heat away from the internal components, and in general it's just feels low end and like a toy.
The bizarre screen that shows what's currently plugged in to the dock by displaying differing variants of an emoji face is just weird and completely useless. First of all, if I can see the screen, I can already see the dock and I can see what's plugged in. Also, you'd have to actually memorize what each different "state" of the face emoji actually means to derive meaning from it, which is just ridiculous. If you want an info display, then just display the info or use a symbol that means something.
Overall, I cannot complain about the performance of the dock, it works fine. I would say that the build quality could be better and the screen shouldn't even exist. Decent product though, just some strange choices being made.

This is a pretty standard hub to extend your USB port numbers. It also has a display that is supposed to have an icon to show whats connected. This is totally useless and not required.
Other than that it does what it should.
4 stars from me. Over priced and the display is not needed.

The USB-C hub is nice with 2 USB-C, 2 USB-A, HDMI, and USB-C PD. This works better for me than having SD/micro SD slot for one less USB-C port like many other hubs. And the size is around the average size for similar hubs with similar configuration.
The LED display on the hub is interesting with the face. The face shows what is connected to the hub, but it is very confusing and I find it useless since I'd have to lookup what the face means (which I know what is connected without the emoji). It's playful but not very practical and I think there's no way to turn it off. And I'm guessing the 2 side bumps are suppose to be headphones for the emoji, since it's not a button or functional. Personally, I'd rather not have the emoji and the headphones for smaller form factor and sleek look without bumps on the sides.
The hub is nice though and works good for me

The face is kinda funny, but all the ports work. only one of the C ports can be used to also charge your device. I like having a HDMI port.

The UGREEN Uno 6 in 1 USB-C Hub has quickly become an essential part of my tech setup. I take it everywhere because it works seamlessly with my computer, tablet, and even my phone. The 10Gbps USB-C and USB-A data ports offer fast data transfer, and the 4K@60Hz HDMI output provides crystal-clear video quality. It's compact, durable, and incredibly versatile, making it perfect for travel or daily use. If you need a reliable hub that can handle multiple devices, this one is a fantastic choice.

I'll keep this review much more brief than the time I spent testing the Ugreen Uno. Suffice it to say that the data ports worked as expected, but the HDMI port did not.
Connected to a Thunderbolt 4 connection on my Mac Mini M2Pro, I was never able to get anything using the Uno HDMI port. Bypassing the Ugreen altogether, the TB4 port produced solid results as always. (The TV I was connected to is 4K 60Hz.)
I didn't find the emoji screen particularly helpful, for what it's worth.
It's too bad, for I've liked other Ugreen products, but without the HDMI port this device is handicapped.

It works perfectly fine.
100W PD is plenty to make it future-proof.
The display is silly, but terribly cute.

This USB-C hub is pretty basic but has many of the main features like USB A ports, USB C ports, power pass through, and HDMI port. This particular USB hub has a cute little emoji screen on it that changes with what is plugged in. It works just fine, though a bit on the large side.
Danie
the hub is nicely machined, very premium feeling. I have nothing bad to say about it. good value.; not the cheapest but you are paying here for the quality and trusted brand name.
JR Angell
I have a few of these things now and this is by far the cheapest feeling of the lot, despite being among the more expensive.
This is purely down to it being a bit larger than it's competitors, but made entirely of plastic whereas they usually have some metal in the body. This leaves it feeling a bit cheap and hollow. I think the unnecessary screen is a big part of this size.
That being said, it has a good number of USB-C connections, which is still something rare to see on these at the moment. The cable length is good as well as often they're too short.
Overall it's not bad, but personally I think they should ditch the screen and make this more compact.
sambartle
I'm confused what the point of this is. As a hub it works perfectly fine, and all the functions work as expected.
The real issue is that UGREEN themselves make a product for about 60% of the price of this, that has all the same functionality minus the LCD screen.. and thats where the problems start.
The LCD is telling you something you already know (what its connected too), isn't important, and that you wont understand unless you are also carrying the manual around with you to decode the parts of the emoji being shown to you.
If it had told you details about transfer speed, voltage something like that, it would have been useful and might have justified the extra cost, but it is just a static emoji, telling you something you wont care about, theres very little value there.
Build quality is excellent, and the performance is also very good, so the strange design decision is even weirder.

This is a great USB Hub - It comes from UGREEN so you know its going to be good!
With 2x USB C ports, 2x USB A ports, 1x HDMI port plus a PD Delivery port for passthrough charging.
In a compact size and great design this hub will cover you in most situations without needing a larger hub which ends up being much heavier to carry around.
BumbleBee
Excellent quality, build and compatibility. Comes with multiple ports and HDMI as well as USB C PD charging. I like the little display which confirms the ports are connected and working.

To say this hub is unexceptional is not to be rude about it. The advert specifies very precisely what the hub can do and as far as I can tell it does everything it is supposed to do. It connects to a laptop via USB C and provides additional ports. For data or items such as an external mouse there are two USB C and two USB A sockets. There is also an HDMI output. The last of the sockets is a further USB C But this is to pass through power and not as a data connection.
What differentiates this hub from others that I have seen is the presence of an LED screen. Apparently arbitrary symbology represents the devices that are connected to the hub. This does seem rather unnecessary as simply by looking at what is plugged in reveals what devices are connected. This quite apart from the necessity of having a crib to decipher the hieroglyphics.. There are also two small black buttons one on either side of the LED screen. These seem to serve no function except decoration but I stand to be corrected.
Frivolity aside, this is a perfectly serviceable, id otherwise unexceptional, hub which makes up for the lack of ports on modern laptops/

I have been using this USB-C hub to expand my device connectivity. Overall, it features over 6 connection ports and supports 100W fast charging, with a minor limitation on HDMI output.
Pros:
? The hub offers over 6 connection ports, including USB-A, USB-C, and HDMI, providing excellent versatility.
? It supports 100W fast charging, ensuring quick and efficient power delivery to connected devices.
Cons:
? The HDMI output is capped at 4K 60Hz, which may not meet the needs of those requiring higher refresh rates.
In conclusion, this USB-C hub is a versatile and powerful accessory for enhancing connectivity, though the HDMI output limitation could be a drawback for some users.

This hub is great in terms of form, build quality and functionality.
Set it up on my second laptop to test it, currently have my 4K LG Ultrafine, two 2.4GHz receivers and my power delivery going through it at the same time. Plugged in a USB C memory stick to transfer movies and that was no problem either.
I don't really understand the purpose of the LED / digital display - it spits out retro looking faces (I think they're faces? It's hard to tell if they were trying to be clever) to indicate what the hub is doing. But this isn't a complicated piece of kit, you plug what you need into it and it works. So it's an unnecessary feature that if anything adds cost and space to something that can be smaller and more streamlined, so knocking a star off for that.
But the hub works great, so I'm pleased with it overall.
