This is a great Bluetooth receiver at any price. UGREEN is my go to company for inexpensive, high quality electronics gear. I needed a receiver to send a signal through my speaker system throughout our house. This does the job. I can play songs on Spotify (with my tablet) and it has a rich, mild bass tone. You will not be disappointed with this device. I always have this plugged in (so battery life is irrelevant) and it is within a foot of the Bluetooth signal.

I decided to give this device a go to use with my 2021 5th gen iPad Pro to plug my studio monitor headphones into for music production purposes. Unfortunately, as with many bluetooth items, the latency is such that it makes playing music via keyboard impossible. I have an audio adapter I can plug into my iPad and plug my headphones into that, I was just hoping for a more convenient and easily portable option. Oddly enough, I had this problem with both a Fiio bluetooth 5 adapter and this Ugreen Bluetooth 5 adapter, but an older Mpow Bluetooth 4 adapter worked perfectly. Other than this purpose, this seems to be a quality item. The sound is good, the range is good and the battery life is good. It just unfortunately is no good for what I purchased it for.

So, first of all, this receiver works very well. I got if for a car with an aux input so I can stream from my phone to the sound system in the car. The issue i'm having is that I can't seem to turn it off. No matter what I do, it keeps coming back on and pairing with my phone, disconnecting whatever other Bluetooth item is engaged. This is a problem because I work from home and have a bluetooth headset to speak with client. Even though it's in the car, in the garage, the Ugreen is relentlessly pairing with my phone and disconnecting my headset. How do you turn this thing off?
