Although various kinds have been widely used, there is no need to buy an all-in-one card reader previously for people's demands for different cards are not as large as that at present.

One single card reader can actually address the issues while just one or two memory cards are used. However, those devices, such as camera, Media Player, Nintendo 3DS/NDS/NDSL and so on, request a card reader that can facilitate them while data, image or something else needs to be transferred into the other one without plugging and unplugging the USB port frequently.

That is what the all-in-one card reader ought to do!

Here several all-in-one card readers, whose common feature is their applications in both the smartphone and computer, are assembled below.

4-in-1 USB 3.0 card reader

This 2-in-1 card reader also owns other similar characteristics with the above one at the aspects of the material, style and matters needing attention etc.

●7-in-1 USB 2.0 card reader

It gets its name because of the three USB ports and four card slots (SD / TF / MS / M2 card), which provides two perfect solutions for devices with USB ports or micro USB ports with OTG function.

Three devices with USB ports can connect to your PC now with it. What's more, there is no need to buy an extra card reader for its integration with USB ports. But it can only read one card at a time.

Playing games with a gamepad or typing with a keyboard in smartphones is also what can be achieved with this card reader.

●4-in-1 USB ports hub + OTG

This is a little different from the above three gadgets, which is just for devices with USB ports. But you can plug a card reader into this plug and play USB ports hub. In addition, there is a micro USB port for power supply when connecting to a 3.5-inch hard driver with EXFAT format(only support).

Actually, each one can be perfect according to different people's requirements.

How to solve card reading failure

Some troubles may not be avoidable while we are using the card readers. For instance, the card reader can not read data at all. Then what should we do?

●Checking steps:

First, connect the card reader into the front interface of the computer after the card is plugged into the card reader. If it doesn’t work, try rear USB port.

Second, try the other computer if both ports do not work. If the card reader works on the other computer, card reading failure is caused by the previous computer. Otherwise, it is because of the card reader.

●Caused by computer setting

1. Click “Start - Control Panel - add new hardware - find” on the previous computer to check whether there is external equipment, if yes, click “hardware” to uninstall the driver and then plug the card reader to re-install the driver.

2. Of course, you can enter the safe mode and then repair the registry. After that, re-enter the normal mode and plug the card reader to check the whether the fault is resolved.

3. If this is still unsolved, then try to restore the computer to a state without card reading failure. Or repair the electrical system disk, open the command prompt to enter SFC / SCANNOW, and then plug the system disk for repairing automatically by the system.

4. If this is still unsolved, set the driver to be the first starting device in the BIOS. Insert the system installation disk and press “R” to select the repair installation.

5. If it is caused by the lack of USB power supply because of too many external devices’ connecting to the USB interface.

Solution: Right - click “My Computer - Device Manager” to find the universal serial bus controller option and then double-click it to open the properties dialogue box, switch to the Power Management tab, remove the check that allows the computer to turn off the device to save power and finally click “OK”.

●Caused by card reader

If it is the card reader, first check whether the data cable is broken. If not, check the interface. Then try to change the interface.
